From March 29 to 31, 2024, the International Open Taekwondo Championship of the ITF Union organized by the “PROF” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia took place in Yerevan, in which the teams of Armenia, Iran, Georgia, Iraq and India participated. Guest of Honor was Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Mehdi Sobhani.

We present a number of episodes of the international tournament.

On 4th of June ITF Taekwondo Open Championship of Armenia took place in Gyumri. It was organized by “PROF” ITF Taekwondo federation of Armenia. Male and female cadets of different sport schools of Armenia and Georgia aged from 4 to 17 have participated in the tournament. It was held in six age groups: up to 5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14 and 15-17. The championship featured about 150 medals and cups.

On May 28 and 29, the Union of International Taekwondo Federations together with the “PROF” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia organized and held a seminar for ITF athletes in Yerevan. The workshop was conducted by International Master of Sports, 6th Dan International Instructor Jason Enley. The aim of the seminar was to increase the skills, fighting efficiency and professionalism of ITF athletes.

On April 30, in Mexico City, Mexico, the the Union of International Taekwondo Federations organized and held a seminar for high-ranking ITF professionals. The aim of the seminar was to improve the skills of high-ranking ITF specialists, providing an opportunity to transfer them to their students from different countries. The president of the “PROF” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia, International Master of Sports, 5th Dan International Instructor Arsen Gevorgyan also participated in the seminar. He will transfer the knowledge gained during this seminar to the coaches of the federation in order to train their students to become more efficient and professional athletes.

Congratulations to everyone from “Prof” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia who were promoted at the belt qualification examination on Wednesday 5th of April, 2023. All students did really well and showed that they satisfy all the requirements for the promotion.

On 18th of December ITF Taekwondo Open Championship of Armenia took place at “MIKA” Sport Complex in Yerevan. It was organized by “PROF” ITF Taekwondo federation of Armenia. Male and female cadets of different sport schools of Armenia and Georgia aged from 4 to 17 have participated in the tournament. It was held in six age groups: up to 5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14 and 15-17. The championship featured about 150 medals and cups.

On November 6, in the city of Chicago, United States of America, the president of the Union of International Taekwondo Federations, the Grandmaster Don Dalton held a special seminar for high-ranking ITF professionals. The aim of the seminar was to further improve the skills of high-ranking ITF specialists, providing an opportunity to transfer them to their students from different countries. The president of the “PROF” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia, International Master of Sports, 5th Dan International Instructor Arsen Gevorgyan also participated in the special seminar. He will transfer the knowledge gained during this seminar to the coaches of the federation in order to train their students to become more efficient and professional athletes.

Congratulations to everyone from “Prof” ITF Taekwondo Federation of Armenia who were promoted at the color belt examination on Sunday 26th of December, 2021. All students did really well and showed that they satisfy all the requirements for the promotion.
